Foundations of Web Development
HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript through four real projects — from your first personal site to a final build of your own choosing. Zero experience needed.
DevCourseLab runs small, live online courses for people building a career in software — students, professionals switching fields, and self-taught developers. Weekly projects, honest code review from working engineers, and a portfolio that speaks louder than any certificate.
DevCourseLab is the teaching studio of BUSBY BRIONA RAQUEL LLC, founded in 2026 in Royse City, Texas. What started as weekend workshops at a local library is now a fully online school with students in a dozen time zones.
We keep classes small on purpose. Your mentor knows your name, reads your code line by line, and tells you the truth about it — kindly, but directly.
Every course is live, cohort-based, and taught by an engineer who writes code for a living. Prices are shared when you apply — no tiers, no upsells.

Intermediate
Design and ship a production-style API: authentication, migrations, background jobs, and a test suite you would actually trust.
Beginner
Scripts that save you hours: files, APIs, spreadsheets, and a final project that automates something from your own life or studies.
Intermediate
Components, state, routing, and data fetching — plus the accessibility habits most tutorials skip. Ends with a deployed portfolio app.
Intermediate
Containerize an app, wire up a pipeline, and deploy to the cloud — the operational skills that make junior resumes stand out.
All levels
Resume and GitHub overhaul, mock technical interviews, and a personal application plan — run by mentors who have hired engineers themselves.
Anyone can sell you videos. We give you a mentor, a cohort, and a feedback loop that behaves like your first engineering team.
Every mentor works as a practicing engineer. No professional lecturers reading slides.
Live sessions are scheduled around work and family life. Recordings when life intervenes.
Small enough that your mentor spots your weak points — and your wins — every week.
Full refund within the first two weeks of any course, no questions asked. In writing.
Unedited words from students who finished the work — collected with permission from course feedback forms.
Someone here actually read my code and told me why it was bad. That stung for a week, and then it changed how I write everything.
The mock interviews were brutal in the best way. I walked into my real interview weirdly calm — nothing they asked was scarier than what Diego had already thrown at me.
I joined from a completely different time zone and never missed a thing — recordings plus Saturday office hours carried me. My capstone review read like a senior engineer wrote it.
I shipped my first real app during the course — deployed, with tests, and a README my mentor made me rewrite twice. My colleagues asked where I learned all that.
Two years in retail, zero technical background. The evening schedule made it possible, and the mentors never once made me feel behind. I start my first dev job next month.
My favorite review comment ever: “This function does four things. Pick one.” I hear it in my head every time I write code now.
Not for the Foundations track — it assumes zero background. For intermediate courses you complete a short placement task first, so nobody lands in a class that moves too fast. If you are not ready yet, we will tell you exactly what to practice and when to come back.
Sessions run in the evenings (US Central) and on weekend mornings, and every session is recorded within the hour. Students join from Europe, Asia, and Latin America every cohort — mentors also hold Saturday office hours at alternating times so nobody is permanently stuck at 3 a.m.
Yes — the Foundations track assumes zero background, and about half of every cohort is made of people switching careers. If you are not sure where you fit, book a free call and we will place you honestly, even if the honest answer is "not yet." Students must be 18 or older; see our Terms of Service for the details.
You get a full refund within the first 14 days of any course, no questions asked, and a prorated refund after that in specific circumstances. You can also pause once per course and rejoin the next cohort free. Everything is spelled out in our refund policy.
